Grandfather used to tell me stories and all the things he thought he knew
There’s something calling from the other side reaching out for me and you
Lie awake and wait for morning
What’s a blind boy supposed to do
As it goes, the things you told me
One by one, they all came true
As time moves along, I find myself alone again
Thinking of the words he said lying there afraid in bed
It’s so hard to comprehend he’s never coming back again
Nothing left to say for him I cherish all the time we had
I recall the fateful warning and all the things that I must do
I can’t forget the song and stories in my heart I’ll be with you
Upon your wake I feel so lonely but I recall the melody
You may be gone but not forgotten the flame it burns inside of me
He said the devil’s song is simply just a way
Of dealing with the things that shouldn’t be inside this place
Looking back, it’s so damn hard, it’s so hard to watch him fray
I hope to god you don’t end up like one of them someday
Now I can’t help but wonder where is grandfather now
Who can tell me where I’m going
Who can slow this world down
Never the lack of information
Never the lack of love for me
But now you’re gone I am just a burden on my living family
cannot suggest this albumn enough! this thing rips from start to finish and includes horror punk heros such as t.b monstrosity and ikki casket etc ....this albumn is a MUST HAVE! therandomasshole1
Great new school Horror Punk by David Phantom and co. The riffs are chunky, David has a nice vibrado, and he spins some delightfully spooky tales of monsters and murder. Really good stuff, looking forward to more. 10/10 Wyrmwood
